Gipsy Moth IV has been undergoing a multi-phase restoration. The (ongoing) restoration has been divided into 6 phases aimed at restoring her to 1966 condition and sailing status.
The restoration is being conducted in the United Kingdom and The Netherlands. Craftsman from the UK, The Netherlands, South Africa and Spain have been involved so far.
The current phase is being conducted at Scheveningen Yacht Club – The Netherlands (Gipsy Moth can be seen here).
The objective being to have Gipsy Moth IV fully restored by RTYC’s 250th Anniversary and Greenwich 2025 Celebrations in June 2025.
