Gipsy Moth IV has been most recently affiliated to the Royal Thames Yacht Club in London. This is fitting as the RTYC is one of the oldest yacht clubs in the world dating back to 1775. RTYC will celebrate its 250th anniversary in 2025.

Two yacht clubs in particular have supported the new owners of Gipsy Moth IV in their activities to restore the iconic yacht. These are The Royal Thames Yacht Club and Scheveningen Yacht Club in The Netherlands. More clubs and yachting associations from around the world will be welcomed to act as supporting clubs in the future – so as also to share in the enjoyment of this heritage.
