CALL FOR SHOW OF INTEREST FROM YACHT CLUBS IN BRITAIN
During the Summer of 2024, Gipsy Moth is being scheduled to visit a number of ports in Great Britain. The route and the actual ports have not been determined yet.
If you are interested in having your town, city or yacht club or marina host Gipsy Moth IV – please contact us!
The last time GipsyMoth IV sailed around Great Britain was in 2017, on the 50th anniversary of the solo-circumnavigation of Chichester where Gipsy Moth IV called in at Milford Haven, Liverpool, Douglas, Isle of Man, Oban, Stornaway, Aberdeen, Newcastle, Hull, London, Portsmouth, Cowes and Dartmouth, before returning to Plymouth.
The objective of the next round Britain voyage is to share the Gipsy Moth IV heritage with the UK sailing community and to promote the GIPSY MOTH EXPERIENCE to schools and interested people. For each leg, separate crews and skippers will also be invited to come on onboard.
The final route will be fixed on 30th September 2023.
